2008 Gulf of Maine Racing Schedule

The dates in bold have been confirmed by Regatta Promotions, check out our events tab on the left for links to some of these events. Registration for RP events will be starting around March 1st to the 10th. Sign up early!
- June 14 Centerboard Yacht Club Regatta
- June 21/22 Pilot Regatta at Portland Yacht Club
- June 28 Harraseeket Yacht Club Regatta
- July 12/13 State of Maine PHRF Championships and One Design Regatta
- July 19/20 Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Regatta
- July 26/27 Seguin Island Race hosted by Southport Island Yacht Club
- August 2/3 Camden/Castine Race hosted by Camden Yacht Club
- August 2/3 Handy Boat Invitational
- August 8/9/10 Monhegan Island Race hoste by Portland Yacht Club
- August 16/17 MS Regatta
- August 22/23/24 PHRF New England Championships Marblehead, MA
- August 28-31 Yarmouth Cup – Not sure this is actually happening!
- September 13/20/27 Portland Yacht Club Fall Series
Not sure about whats happening downeast. Downeast Race Week or the MDI Series? Anyone know the dates?

The Yarmouth Cup is on the GOMOR schedule and will happen this year!

Yarmouth Cup has transitioned into the Yarmouth Cup Shriners International Sailboat Challenge and will be run from Provincetown, Massachusetts to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Vessels will leave at o800 from Provincetown for this 240 mile race. If interested call 617-371-4746 or 617-371-4807 for details and vessel or sponsorship packet.

The Yarmouth Cup Shriners International Sailboat Challenge is a fundraising race to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Boston, pediatric burn specialty hospital. All funds raised will go to direct patient care.

David, what is the schedule for this event? Is it happening on Labor Day Weekend?
